TensorForm

TensorForm[tens]

prints any of the tensor forms defined in the ADM package in matrix or vector form, as appropriate.

Details and Options

  • TensorForm works on matrix operators, co- and contravariant spherical tensors, spherical tensor operators, spherical tensor decompositions, matrices of tensor decompositions, and Cartesian vectors with scalar, spherical tensor, or operator components.
  • For operators and spherical tensors, TensorForm is equivalent to MatrixForm.
  • Tensor decompositions and Cartesian vectors are printed as unformatted lists, with each component displayed in MatrixForm as appropriate.
